Josh Chu, a junior at Ponderosa High in California, won the Division 3 boys race at the subsections of the Sac-Joaquin Section at Calaveras County Fairgrounds at Frogtown in Angels Camp. Chu covered the 3-mile raincourse layout in 15:13.6 to help Ponderosa place second overall behind Oakdale by a 41-92 margin.
